Abstract

Introduction: Knowledge sharing is known as a key element in improving the quality of education. Teachers can learn from each other and improve their teaching methods when they share their knowledge and experiences with each other. Organizational culture also plays a fundamental role in facilitating or hindering knowledge sharing.

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between organizational culture and knowledge sharing among middle school teachers in Pakdasht city, and it is applied and based on the descriptive-analytical and correlational method.

Method: Library and field methods were used to collect data. The statistical population of this research is secondary school teachers of Pakdasht city, whose number is 765. To calculate the sample size, Cochran's formula was used, and the statistical sample size was 255/96, which was considered to be 256. Sampling was stratified random. Two standard questionnaires of Denison's organizational culture (2000) and the knowledge sharing questionnaire of Kim and Lee (2013) are tools for collecting information.

Findings: There is a positive and significant relationship between organizational culture and knowledge sharing among middle school teachers in Pakdasht city. The stronger the organizational culture in schools, the greater the sharing of knowledge between teachers.

Conclusion: Creating a strong organizational culture in schools can help promote knowledge sharing among teachers and ultimately improve the quality of education.
