The current research was carried out in order to predict the tendency to addiction based on intolerance of uncertainty and emotional control in teenagers.
Method :
This research is descriptive and correlational in nature and method.
The statistical population of the research included the first high school students of Malayer city, of which 381 students were selected as a statistical sample based on Morgan's table with a stratified random sampling method. Multivariate regression analysis and correlation coefficient significance test were used to analyze the data.
findings:
The findings indicated that there is a significant relationship between the tendency to addiction and intolerance of uncertainty, and there is also a relationship between the tendency to addiction and emotional control of students.
Conclusion:
The results of this research showed that emotion control and intolerance of uncertainty are able to predict the tendency to addiction and the rate of this prediction is 0.91.
