[English]

Researchers and experts widely consider Information Technology (IT) infrastructure capability as a competitive tool for new product development. However, the current understanding of how IT infrastructure capability impacts new product development performance remains unclear. The existing literature lacks an explanatory framework for the relationship between "IT Infrastructure Capability - New Product Development Performance," either not providing empirical evidence for the influence of external knowledge and internal innovation processes. Therefore, this study empirically investigates the impact of IT infrastructure capability on new product development performance, considering market knowledge as a mediator and innovation process formalization as a moderator. This research followed a descriptive-survey approach, employing structural equation modeling with Partial Least Squares (PLS) methodology for data collection and analysis. The sample consisted of 384 employees from Mihan Company. Data were analyzed using PLS-SEM technique. The research findings revealed a positive relationship between IT infrastructure capability and new product development efficiency, as well as with market knowledge, but not with new product development effectiveness. Furthermore, the results demonstrated that innovation process formalization moderates the relationship between IT infrastructure capability and new product development efficiency, while it doesn't moderate the relationship with new product development effectiveness.
