With the rapid growth of online education in primary schools, the role of parents in supporting their children’s learning has gained increasing importance. This qualitative study, using a phenomenological approach, explored parents’ lived experiences and perceptions of AI-driven intelligent feedback in online primary education. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 12 parents in Ahvaz city and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings revealed that intelligent feedback not only enhances parents’ awareness of their children’s academic progress but also strengthens their active involvement in the learning process and fosters more effective communication with teachers. Parents emphasized that receiving timely and personalized feedback provided them with clearer insights into their children’s strengths and weaknesses, thereby allowing them to offer more targeted support at home. At the same time, the study identified challenges, including technical complexities, limited digital literacy, and the need for additional training in the use of such systems. These obstacles occasionally reduced parents’ confidence and limited the effectiveness of the feedback. Overall, the results highlight the potential of intelligent feedback systems to empower parents and enrich home–school collaboration, while underlining the necessity for user-friendly platforms and practical training programs to maximize their benefits.
